Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with superb technical skills to develop and maintain high volume production platforms in the Recordkeeping & Operational Platforms domain of Workplace Investing Technology.
You will engage collaboratively with business and systems partners to deliver high quality and innovative software solutions. You are energized and enthusiastic to learn and grow with us in our digital transformation to build our future cloud platform capabilities to enable millions of Fidelity customers to better prepare for retirement while delivering the outstanding customer experiences.
Join our agile teams working in a fast-paced environment, closely partnering with product, architecture, and other engineering teams. We provide mentors to help navigate your role. We offer dedicated time each month to develop new skills and investigate new technologies.
The Skills You Bring - 6+ years of software development experience in business critical, enterprise-wide applications
- Mainframe development expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM
- Ability to perform detailed analysis for maintenance and enhancement projects in the batch and online environments
- Deploy and support software releases into production environments
- Employ your data security skills to keep our customers information safe
- You are detailed and thorough with unit, functional and regression testing
- Proven Experience writing COBOL/Native stored procedures is a plus
- Experience in Distributed Technologies (Nice to have/Willing to learn)
