For the past 20 years our client has been a leading real estate and commercial litigation firm. Located on the boarder of Nassau and Suffolk Counties in Long Island and on the Rt 110 Corridor, they service clients throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
Specializing in the representation of a diverse clientele in the acquisition, sale and development of commercial real property, as well as, complex commercial and land use litigation matters in both State and Federal Court.
The position is full-time in the office (Melville, NY) except when in court
Main Responsibilities
· Assist with discovery requests and responses.
· Draft pre-trial motions, including dispositive motions.
· Attend Court conferences, hearings, depositions, and ADR.
· Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners.
· Interface with Clients and opposing counsel.
· Efficiently conduct legal research.
· Assist in the preparation of cases for trial.
Main Requirements:
· JD from an accredited law school
· Admitted to practice in the State of New York
· Minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience
· Strong writing skills required
