Responsibilities.

• Assess students' strengths and weaknesses in reading and match these skills with appropriate techniques and materials;
• Developing student goals and instructional outcomes based on students' specific strengths and challenges in reading;
• Provide individual and small group instruction for students struggling in reading;
• Be an active member of a multidisciplinary team that promotes quality services for children;
• Work independently in a peer-supervised team environment;
• Lead professional development trainings and workshops for colleagues in the broader community;
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
