Job Overview:

As a landscaper, you will be responsible for the landscape and grounds of a commercial property and you will execute various routine landscaping work. You will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team:

• Participate in the daily activities of the landscape crew
• Utilize, develop and share landscaping techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Complete landscaping installations, including planting, hardscaping, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with other employees, leads, managers and suppliers as required.

Safety Compliance:

• Abide by all safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend regular safety meetings and inspections.

Inventory Management:

• Managing the tools, equipment, and materials needed for projects.
• Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs.

Client Interaction:

• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping or related field

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of plant species, horticultural practices, and landscape design principles.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license; additional certifications (e.g., OSHA, pesticide applicator) are a plus.
