Job Description

Monday thru Friday - 2 Hours after 5:00 P.M.

*Advertised hourly rate plus potential for additional compensation based on previous experience.

Are you a highly skilled and motivated individual looking for a part-time job in the cleaning industry? Do you enjoy creating a clean and sanitary environment? If so, we have an immediate opening for a Janitorial Cleaner at Rolling Hills Industries, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Dust/damp wipe furniture, desks, tables, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves, chairs, phones, drinking fountains, etc.
• Clean lunchroom/kitchen where applicable
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed. Keep supply area organized and clean
• Empty waste bins and recycling bins, transport to designated collection points
• Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.) if required within the contract
• Vacuum carpets and walk off mats, including edges and behind furniture
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops
• Maintain and clean restrooms - mirrors, toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers, partitions
• Clean all entrance glass, inside and out, to remove smudges and fingerprints
• Notify supervisors or call office of unsafe conditions

Minimum Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
• Good organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods
• Attention to detail
• Commitment to internal and external customer service
• Must be a team player

Working Conditions

Casual attire. Sitting, bending, stooping, and heavy lifting may be required to perform the duties of this role.
