Responsibilities

  • Perform seasonal landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, pruning, edging, mulching, and flower planting
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trimmers, pruners, blowers, weed whips)
  • Maintain plant health and aesthetic standards through deadheading, cultivating, and trimming ground cover and shrubs
  • Support bed preparation and cleanup tasks such as removing debris, cultivating soil/mulch, and redefining bed edges
  • Assist in tree and shrub pruning up to designated height levels for appearance and safety
  • Ensure assigned work is completed on time and meets quality expectations
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a safe and productive work environment
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to efficient job site operations

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture
  • Proficiency in the use of landscape tools and equipment
  • Strong understanding of seasonal garden maintenance practices
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
  • Chauffeur’s License or willingness to obtain before start date (preferred)
  • Experience with bed edging, annual planting, and ornamental pruning (preferred)

Compensation

Starting pay at $19.00 per hour
