Dialysis RN provides the delivery of patient care to the acute renal patient
Supervising care treatment and services of patient care
Following an individual plan of care for each patient
Communicating appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team
Reporting patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner
Current Texas State licensure as a RN
CPR Certification, ACLS Certification
Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience:Two (2) years of clinical experience in dialysis
Acute and/or long-term acute care experience is preferred
Successful completion of a Hemodialysis Training Program
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions and meet deadlines in a detailed-oriented manner
Ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbal arenas
Ability to work independently without supervision
