Pilot, Captain H145 IFR/NVG

About the Role

Total Aviation Staffing is recruiting for a Captain H145 IFR/NVG pilot on behalf of a leading air ambulance provider. As a Captain, you will play a critical role in life-saving missions, flying in diverse and challenging environments with precision and skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the H145 helicopter in Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations under IFR/NVG conditions.
• Ensure compliance with PHI Air Medical GOM, CAMTS guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft readiness.
• Provide exceptional service while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in community outreach and PR efforts.
• Support the organization’s Safety Management System and Destination Zero initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating (ATP required within 12 months).
  • First Class Medical Certification.
• Flight Experience:
  • Minimum 2,000 total flight hours (1,500 hours helicopter, 1,000 hours PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter hours).
  • 100 unaided night hours (or 50 unaided + 100 NVG hours).
  • 100 hours instrument (actual & hood).
• Other Requirements:
  • Weight under 235 lbs.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs for loading and unloading.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000.
