Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience in handling small devices

• Experience with medical device documentation practices

• Conduct mechanical tests such as drop, impact, shock/vibe

• Conduct Instron-based mechanical tests such as peel, tension, torsion

• Conduct environmental tests such as water submersion, temperature exposure tests

Conduct electrical tests with power sources, oscilloscopes, multimeters

Experience Required

• 1+ yrs experience with medical devices testing.

• Exposure to Java/Python

Experience with the scientific method

Roles & Responsibilities

• Follow protocols to run, document, and complete analysis of system-level tests

• Take microscopic images of devices for failure analysis

• Assist engineers with experimental setups and data collection

• Provide data analysis support for plotting, report generation

• Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills

• Work closely with development team

• Daily status reporting to immediate stakeholders

Generic Managerial Skills

• Ability to learn and follow test protocols to perform tests with minimum supervision

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deliver high quality work

• Ability to interpret and discuss plots

• Ability to communicate effectively

Education Graduation and above

Salary Range: $50,000-$100,000 a year
