Key Duties:

• Create and Execute Food Safety Programs: Develop and implement robust SQF and HACCP programs to enhance food safety and minimize risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local food safety regulations and standards.
• Documentation Mastery: Keep thorough records of safety protocols, procedures, and compliance checks.
• Hygiene and Safety Monitoring: Oversee factors affecting workplace hygiene, including chemical handling, noise, and lighting.
• Training and Communication: Conduct training sessions, create safety bulletins, and engage with employees to promote a safety-first culture.
• Audit and Inspection: Collaborate with SQF auditors and internal teams to ensure continuous compliance and address safety concerns.
• Stay Current: Keep up with the latest food safety practices and advancements to ensure our facility remains at the forefront of industry standards.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: BS/BA in Food Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5+ years in food safety management, with hands-on experience in SQF, HACCP, risk management, and food safety compliance.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify and rectify food safety issues and unsafe practices.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and influence across all organizational levels.
