Flooring Installer & Maintenance Technician

At Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Resort, we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for all our guests. We are seeking a skilled Flooring & Maintenance Technician to join our Hotel Maintenance team. This is a full-time, year-round position with a primary focus on flooring installation and repair. When flooring projects are not active, the technician will assist with general hotel maintenance tasks as needed.

Must be 18 years or older to apply. Valid U.S. Driver's License required.

Job Type: Full time, non-exempt

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm* 

*Actual shifts may vary based on hotel occupancy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair various types of flooring, including carpet, vinyl, tile, and laminate, across hotel properties.
• Prepare subfloors and surfaces to ensure quality flooring installation.
• Measure, cut, and lay flooring materials with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist with general maintenance duties including:

- Painting, patching walls, and minor drywall repair

- Repairing appliances and hotel fixtures

- Light carpentry and refinishing of furniture/trim

- Seasonal work including snow removal and basic landscaping

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on flooring and facility systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in flooring installation and repair (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Must be 18 years or older and available to work weekends and flexible shifts
• High School diploma or GED preferred
