Job Title: Firewall Administrator

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 10 Months
Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Firewall Administrator to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable enterprise networks. The role requires strong technical expertise, vendor-specific knowledge, and collaboration across IT and security teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage secure network infrastructures.

• Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure communication protocols.

• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and threat modeling.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams.

• Lead incident response architecture and support post-incident improvements.

• Document network designs, standards, and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting), 5+ years

• Firewall technologies & architectures, 5+ years

• Security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS), 5+ years

• Network monitoring & analysis tools (Wireshark), 5+ years

• IDS/IPS, 5+ years

• Command line interface & scripting, 5+ years

• Log analysis & SIEM tools, 5+ years

• Vendor expertise: Palo Alto, Check Point, VMware NSX-T, Zscaler

Requirements:

• Must reside in Pennsylvania
