Job Description

Overview

Our client, a global technology company, is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support day-to-day financial management activities within a dynamic operations environment. The position is hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA, with in-office expectations three days per week. This engagement has an expected duration of 6+ months.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end initiation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure PO accuracy, budget alignment, and timely funding.
• Validate invoices for rate and PO accuracy; route for approvals and ensure timely payment.
• Perform weekly reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities, including documentation and reporting.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.

Requirements

• Proficiency with financial management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, general ledger) and PO-to-Pay workflows.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
