We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team, with a focus on behavioral healthcare budgeting and revenue modeling. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving healthcare services and will work closely with stakeholders to optimize financial strategies and outcomes for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs).
Job Summary:
As a Financial Analyst, you will conduct detailed financial analyses, prepare reports, and provide recommendations aimed at maximizing the efficient use of funds to improve the health outcomes of CCBHC participants. You will also offer ongoing support and advice in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the CCBHC Payment Program Access (PPS) model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, including revenues, expenditures, cost projections, insurance information, and fiscal models.
- Prepare and review CCBHC Cost Reports, budgets, and related financial documents as outlined in project scopes of work.
- Offer recommendations to improve financial performance by supporting the establishment of PPS models, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and advising management on appropriate actions.
- Present clear and actionable financial insights to key stakeholders, including executive management and staff.
Requirements & Skills:
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in fiscal management or administration, with a focus on financial systems, management information, and controls. Recent experience and familiarity with regulatory changes in the behavioral healthcare sector is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial management practices, both in theory and application.
- Experience with auditing, billing compliance reviews, and trend analysis in outpatient treatment services, behavioral health clinics, and care management practices.
- Previous experience working with CCBHCs and understanding healthcare billing policies impacting behavioral health providers' revenue.
- Familiarity with the behavioral health provider and government ecosystem, including CCBHCs and FQHCs.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with executive and staff teams to meet project goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial analyses to various audiences, including senior management and non-financial stakeholders.
Compensation:
This is a contract-based position, with a minimum compensation rate of $50,000. Actual compensation will vary based on client needs and successfully executed contracts. Detailed compensation information will be discussed during the interview process.
