Ridge Valley Exteriors, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our talented team in delivering top-notch Roofing and Gutter solutions. With a mission that extends beyond exceptional service, Ridge Valley Exteriors supports St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, contributing to the fight against childhood cancer. As a Sales Manager, you will oversee and drive sales performance, mentor the team, and create strategies for growth and success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to sales representatives, ensuring their success.
    • Set individual sales goals, track performance metrics, and report progress to upper management.
    • Foster a positive, high-energy sales culture, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
    • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new sales team members.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth in roofing, solar, and gutter services.
    • Engage in door-to-door sales and train the team on generating leads and building customer relationships.
    • Conduct roof inspections while training the team on assessing customer needs and recommending solutions.
    • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration & Customer Service:
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and customer service departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Represent Ridge Valley Exteriors at trade shows, industry events, and within the community to build brand awareness and drive business development.
    • Meet onsite during roofing installations to review details with customers, check in on the progress, and close out the project upon completion.

  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and building trust.
  • Availability to work five days a week, with Saturdays being the most productive and rewarding.
  • Willingness to conduct roof inspections and engage in door-to-door sales efforts (training provided for effective door-knocking).
  • Ability to set up ladders, climb on roofs, work at heights, climb into attics, lift 50lbs, and work in various weather conditions year-round.
  • Roofing sales experience is a plus, but not required (comprehensive training provided).
  • Ability to pass a background check for employment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • iPad, laptop, and smartphone to get started.
