Job Description

Job Summary:
We are growing and looking for an individual to fill a full-time position in our finish team. This is year-round, consistent work. The finisher/sprayer will be responsible for finishing a variety of cabinet parts and components. The finisher/sprayer will also set up, operate, and maintain spray guns/machines.



Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of paint equipment and application.
  • Ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently. 
  • Minimize waste of raw materials as well as work in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and steady hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and must be willing to comply will all health and safety rules and regulations.



  Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Prior experience is required.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
  • Attention to detail and quality of work produced.
  • Ability to learn to spray to a color/quality standard.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard, and in the necessary time frame.
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the shift.
  • Hours and overtime dictated by production, including daily and/or weekly (weekend) overtime.



  Education and Experience:

  • Prior wood painting experience is a MUST 5 years minimum.
  • Stain matching experience is a MUST 2 years minimum.
  • Wipe & spray application experience is a must 2 years minimum



  Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
