Job Overview

Summary of Position:
We're looking for a dynamic individual who is a self-starter to run our events and market our brand in the local community. They will be responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as planning and supervising the execution of all birthday party, corporate and group events. Getting plugged into the local community and organizations to network on behalf of the company will be a primary focus. In addition, they will support the social media marketing efforts based off of company guidelines and framework to include local posting as well as monitoring and responding to comments and messages on the local page.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Develop new business opportunities through advertising, networking, follow-up and relationship building.
-Execute all birthday party, corporate and group events from start to finish. This includes coordinating all necessary staff, equipment and timelines, as well as managing day of event and post event follow-up.
-Support social media marketing efforts by responding to local page messages from customers in a timely-manner, posting within the corporate guidelines and framework, and engaging with local brands/community through social media.
Skills & Requirements:
-3 years experience in marketing and/or events management
-Social Media management experience preferred
-Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
-Professional business presence with a networking mindset
-Self starter with a high level of initiative
-Commitment to customer service
-Highly detail oriented with superb organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Events Management: 3 years (Required)
• Marketing: 1-3 years (Preferred)
