Location: Malvern, AR

Department: Deposit Operations

Reports To: Operations Team Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general supervision and guidance of the Operations Team Manager, the Deposit Accts Document Specialist will provide exceptional support and clerical service specific to MNB retail teams insuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, and legal requirements while assisting to maintain the bank’s RMS (Relationship Management System). The incumbent will have full working knowledge of the set-up of customer accounts to assist the frontline customer service representatives. Work is highly confidential in nature and involves the skilled use of a computer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently deliver phenomenal customer service through aggressive friendliness accompanied by honest, positive and confident behaviors (in-house and on the phone)
  • Provide timely and accurate service to both internal and external customers
  • Remain abreast of all deposit products offered to MNB customers
  • Display working knowledge of CSR procedures and responsibilities in order to offer support to MNB retail teams, to include research and problem solving abilities
  • Work daily with the bank’s RMS (Relationship Management System); involving any customer added or maintenances (DDA, Savings, CD, IRA, Lockbox, Loans) within the system
  • Process new account signature cards, checking all Demand and Savings accounts, CD and IRAs opened each day; process any revised signature cards
  • Enter and review stop payments; work with Account Monitoring - account and REG CC holds
  • Review Branch Safe Deposit Accounts for accuracy
  • Set-up and review Auto Transfers/Dynamic Transfers
  • Enter ACH/Check Translations
  • Analyze Crippled statements for customer statement preparation
  • Verify all “CIP” information is received on all customers according to CIP procedures
  • Follow up with CSRs to effect corrections and collections of required documentation on a timely basis while developing exception and tracking reports
  • Maintain a working knowledge of ATM, ACH, and Online banking
  • Crosstrain in other Deposit Operation positions in order to assist team members and serve as a backup when necessary
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations through utmost confidentiality
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree; or two (2) years related work experience/training in business fields (e.g. accounting, business admin, finance, etc.) required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a bank or other financial institution required; Opening new accounts a PLUS!

  • Proficiently type on a keyboard

  • Proficiently use MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Exhibit professional appearance and manner
