    • Security protocols : Ensuring robust security measures are in place, including  multi-factor authentication (MFA) , encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Monitoring and auditing : They would also implement and maintain systems to track and audit user access to ensure that security and compliance standards are met.
Cybersecurity and Data Protection:
  • Protect sensitive manufacturing data, intellectual property, and customer information.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead a team of IT professionals (network engineers, systems administrators, etc.).
  • Foster collaboration between IT and other departments, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to improve operational efficiency.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that technology investments deliver ROI.
