As a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry, we work every day to help customers drive better results and improve patient outcomes. **Job Responsibilities** + **Technical Leadership** - Guide the development team in designing, developing, and deploying DaaS solutions. + **Requirements Gathering and Analysis** - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for DaaS solutions. + **Technical Design** - Develop and document DaaS technical architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. + **Team Development** - Mentor, coach, and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Act as a consultant to resolve all product-related issues with the development team. + **Code Reviews** - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices. + **Problem Solving** - Act as a product specialist in supporting analysis of all issues. Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures. + **Innovation** - Continuously seek opportunities to improve DaaS platforms and services, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices. Stay current with technology changes and identify opportunities for product improvement. + **Communication** - Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. + **Continuous Learning** - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the DaaS space. **Qualifications / Skills** + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + High attention to detail, particularly in data and system integrity. + Ability to work under indirect supervision. + Broad understanding of information technology topics. + Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. + Comfortable with ambiguity and learning outside of one's comfort zone. + Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Technically creative and open-minded. **Education & Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/work experience. + 10-12 years of experience in IT management, solution architecture, or related technical leadership roles. + Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure DaaS architectures. + Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native technologies. + Experience with job schedulers such as Automic and Cybermation. + Proficiency with databases including MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift. + Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity management, access control, and compliance. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $108,800.00 - $181,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
