Job Description

Summary

Full time position. Part time delivery driver / part time warehouse work. Driver needed to make deliveries of building materials to lumber yards and job sites in the state of Iowa. No overnights required. Job requires a CDL class A license. Warehouse work requires pulling orders and loading trucks.

Duties

Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods
Check vehicles to ensure that all mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Maintain proper logs.
Assist in loading and unloading of truck
Secure loads properly.
Deliver products properly to building material companies or job sites.
Maintain delivery paperwork
Operate piggyback forklift to make deliveries

Requirements

CDL Class A driver license
DOT physical and drug test
Follow all safety procedures for vehicle operation
Maintain dot logs and delivery paperwork
Deliver and verify product being delivered.
Inspect and maintain equipment in proper working condition

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of building materials
Forklift and Piggyback experience.
