Data Quality Analyst – Crowe Global

Location: Remote | Team: Global Conflicts Level: Staff

About Crowe Global

Crowe Global is one of the world’s leading accounting networks, consisting of more than 200 independent accounting and advisory firms across 145+ countries. As part of a major strategic initiative to enhance global quality management, Crowe Global is launching an upgraded platform to centrally manage global restricted entities and conflict checks—built to align with key regulatory and professional standards (IESBA, SEC, UK, etc.).

To support this initiative, we are expanding our Global Conflicts Team and seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst who will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of critical entity data used across the network.

Position Overview

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in validating and enriching entity data that powers conflict checks across Crowe Global. You will regularly conduct corporate research using open-source registries and AI deep research sources , review global entity details, investigate corporate family trees, and collaborate with member firms worldwide.

This role is fully remote and ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in a foreign language—with Mandarin strongly preferred due to the frequency of Asia-Pacific research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of entity information across the global conflicts platform.

  • Perform corporate research , including corporate family tree mapping and verification through open-source commercial registries and public corporate databases.
  • Collaborate with Crowe member firms across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA regions to gather, confirm, and clarify entity information.
  • Monitor data integrity by conducting ongoing evaluations of reference data, entity relationships, and corporate affiliations.
  • Support the global team’s shared inbox by responding to user inquiries, data concerns, technical questions, and access requests.
  • Initiate periodic entity data verification processes and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Maintain accurate research logs, documentation, communication records, and audit trails within the entity management application.
  • Assist member firms with data entry and import tasks related to the global restricted list and corporate family trees.
  • Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 2 years of experience (public accounting, professional services, or academic research experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in open-source corporate research , including commercial registries and business information databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate within a global team.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with corporate research databases, business intelligence tools, or corporate reference data systems.
  • Familiarity with conflicts search or risk management platforms (e.g., Kingland, Intapp, Elite).
  • Foreign-language fluency (preferably Mandarin)
  • Knowledge of cultural geography or experience working in globally distributed teams.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to support a major global quality initiative within a leading international accounting network.
  • Remote, flexible schedule across global time zones.
  • Exposure to an international environment and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Professional development in data governance, global regulatory standards, and conflicts management systems.
