Calipatria State Prison is located in sunny southern California, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes south of Palms Springs and 2 hours and 20 minutes east of San Diego.

**Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. **Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.

This classification offers a retention bonus. E mployees who are employed at Calipatria State Prison for 12 consecutive, qualifying pay periods, will receive an annual $2,600 recruitment and retention bonus.Applicants are highly encouraged to apply online.
