Job Title: Cook
Pay: $12 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure. This role involves preparing large batches of food, working with a team, and ensuring all food is prepared to our high standards. Experience with Southern cuisine and large-batch cooking is preferred, and the ability to cross-train in different kitchen positions is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook large batches of food according to our recipes and standards
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Assist with menu preparation and testing as needed
• Cross-train in other kitchen positions (prep, dishwashing, etc.)
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Provide assistance to other team members as needed

Requirements:

• Proven cooking experience, especially in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Experience in large-batch cooking is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Southern cooking styles and recipes is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Must be able to cross-train and assist with different kitchen tasks as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, etc.)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform various tasks as described by job site Supervisor
• PPE Required - Steel Toes
• All other PPE provided by Labor Finders
• Must be able to work in hot climates
