Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Northwest Michigan is a full-service restoration & remodeling contractor, specializing in the mitigation and repair of damaged residential and commercial properties. We provide emergency response mitigation services, followed by total reconstruction of damage caused by water, fire, smoke and wind. We are an independently owned and operated company, part of the Paul Davis franchise system, which is the largest national network of full-service insurance restoration contractors. As a Restoration Construction Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring buildings and structures damaged by natural disasters, accidents, or other incidents. You will be responsible for assessing damage, coordinating restoration efforts, and performing various construction tasks to bring damaged properties back to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in construction techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties: Perform a wide range of construction tasks, including carpentry, painting, drywall installation, flooring installation, plumbing, electrical work, and other general construction activities as needed. Assist with demolition & cleanup, maintaining the office/shop, and other duties as needed. Preferred skills: Any combination of rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, hard surface flooring, carpet installation, painting, demolition, plumbing, electrical, tile, general labor.
