Communications Specialists Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and manage communication strategies tailored to each client’s needs
- Craft and edit materials such as press releases, blog posts, website copy, social media content and more
- Collaborate with clients to create targeted campaigns and ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers and key stakeholders
- Monitor the effectiveness of communications strategies and adjust as necessary to achieve optimal results
- Organize and support events, both virtual and in-person, ensuring smooth execution and clear messaging
- Provide guidance on crisis communications, when necessary
Communications Specialists Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in communications, PR, content creation, or a related discipline (specific experience may vary depending on the role)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with communications tools, social media platforms and content management systems
- A proactive, creative and adaptable attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
We work on direct hire, contract, and contract-to-hire opportunities with companies primarily located in the Chicago and Chicagoland area. Location, compensation, etc. varies on the role itself which our recruiters will cover thoroughly with candidates.
