Commercial Furniture Designer – Mid-Level

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Commercial Furniture Designer to join our team in Tampa! If you have a passion for space planning, commercial interiors, and furniture solutions—and experience working with dealers or manufacturers—this is your opportunity to grow in a dynamic, design-forward environment.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with clients, account managers, and project managers to develop furniture layouts and space plans for commercial environments
Produce specifications, installation drawings, and presentation materials
Support the sales team by applying your knowledge of commercial furniture products and configurations
Work closely with manufacturers and vendors to ensure accurate project execution
Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and best practices in workplace design
The ideal candidate will possess:
2–4 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry
(dealership or manufacturer experience preferred)
Strong understanding of contract furniture, space planning, and design standards
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, CET Designer, or similar)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A team player with a high attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
