Job Description

Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CMO will play a key role in fostering strong relationships between hospital management and medical staff, while also leading efforts to recruit and mentor new physicians.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with key members of the administrative team to drive initiatives aimed at improving patient care, developing healthcare policies, and ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence. Your leadership will help shape the future of our medical programs and ensure we continue to provide outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships between hospital leadership and medical staff.
Lead the recruitment and mentorship of new physicians.
Develop and implement policies that enhance patient care and safety.
Collaborate daily with the administrative team to support organizational goals.
Provide strategic leadership in improving healthcare quality and utilization across the organization.
Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with completed residency training in a recognized specialty.
Board certification in your specialty area.
A management degree is strongly preferred (MBA, MHA, MMM, MPH).
Proven leadership experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of hospital operations, including quality and utilization processes.
Experience with medical staff policies, procedures, and processes.
Strong background in recruiting and mentoring staff physicians.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 85,000.00 145,000.00 Per Year
