"Position Overview:
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a leading role in delivering projects within the organization. You will have to understand the business, the technical vision as well our strategic objectives. Working with various team members of the project, you will analyze current work processes, visually map/document workflows, and create business user stories following the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis and identify gaps.
• When needed, challenge / negotiate such requirements to align them with the best way of using technology.
• Document the functional specifications and business process changes related to business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Business processes and reporting.
• Work with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Create and maintain changes on documentation (ex. user guides, policies, system, and training) including the integration of new processes and technologies within the current operations.
• Create and document test cases to confirm that deployed solutions will live up to established business requirements, standards & practices.
• Coordinate and/or execute test activities including user acceptance ones, and document results.
• Liaise with other teams impacted by changes including Helpdesk.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external clients.
Technical Skills:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT business analyst working with large organizations
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field, or a combination of other relevant experience and education.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• The ability to negotiate with stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced business process and technical background.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of requirements modelling and technical documentation
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, ServiceNow
• Knowledge of workflows and process automation
• Knowledge of Change Management processes is an asset
• Experience in one or more of these fields Telephony/BPO, Backoffice applications (mailroom etc.), workforce management
• Certification in business analysis, CBAP or PMI-PBA an asset."
