Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential support for financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as QuickBooks accounting software. This is a part-time, flexible work hours.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP.
• Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and reporting requirements.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Respond to financial inquiries from staff and vendors in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Backup support to Office Manager/Controller.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a small business environment.
• Excellent proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
• Demonstrated experience processing payroll using ADP is required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time and coverage for vacation required.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week, would be more if covering for vacation. Potential to go to full-time.

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift.
• Day shift.

Ability to Commute:

• King of Prussia, PA (Required).
