BARTENDER/SERVER/CATERING HELP

We are seeking flexible, outgoing, reliable , and honest individuals to join our team. This position would entail some bartending hours as well as server and catering work. Ability to be flexible with schedule and willingness to help where needed is a must.

Constanza Stone Tavern N Deli in West Newton, PA is looking for one bartender/server/catering to join our 18 person strong team. We are located on 3518 Herminie West Newton Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

• Greeting customers : Being friendly, upbeat, and efficient, and anticipating diners' needs 
• Taking orders : Collecting orders from the kitchen or bar and bringing them to customers' tables 
• Answering questions : Providing menu recommendations and answering questions about menu items 
• Serving food and drinks : Ensuring that orders are sent out as requested 
• Clearing tables : Promptly clearing food and dishes from tables once customers are done eating 
• Processing payments : Handling cash and credit card transactions 
• Managing the guest experience : Checking in with customers and addressing any concerns 
• Communicating with kitchen staff : Ensuring that orders are input into the point of sale (POS) system accurately 
• Resolving customer problems : Seeking feedback, staying updated on industry trends, and implementing best practices 
• Assisting with opening and closing duties : As needed 
• Servers should have clear written and verbal communication skills, and be able to responsibly handle cash transactions. They should also have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
