Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and friendly Bakery Delivery Driver to transport fresh baked goods from our bakery to various customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. As a key representative of our bakery, you will ensure that products are delivered on time, in excellent condition, and with a warm and professional demeanor.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport baked goods to customers, including cafes, restaurants, retail stores, hospitals, hotels, schools, and private residences, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
• Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage and maintain freshness.
• Plan efficient routes and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
• Provide friendly, professional service, representing Homeboy Bakery’s values and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, both on the road and during product handling, to ensure the safety of the driver, products, and the public.
• Observe traffic laws and practice safe driving habits avoiding distractions and ensuring a smooth journey for fragile baked goods.
• Manage GPS and proof of purchase applications
• Complete and submit all required paperwork at the end of the route.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of driver experience and a solid safety record is required.
• Must have the ability to work 12am to 8:30am morning shifts (Weekends/Holidays as needed).
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Time management and a strong sense of customer service is critical.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary to provide our customers an excellent service.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
$20.00/hour
