Job Title: Assistant Marketing Manager

BALANCE eating disorder treatment center, a premium treatment center in Manhattan, is seeking a highly motivated, passionate Assistant Marketing manager to join our expanding team!

The Position

An enthusiastic leader with experience leading a marketing team to build a brand that exemplifies BALANCE's mission and connects with the values of our clients. Your role is to develop an overall marketing plan, approve campaigns and measure the return on investment of various advertising methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions, and other marketing projects.
  • Develop and monitor marketing budgets and costs.
  • Develop sales forecasting.
  • Conduct customer, brand, and services research initiatives.
  • Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media, and events.
  • Work with the new business development team and admissions teams on brand initiatives.
  • Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
  • Supervise a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines
  • Oversee the operation of BALANCE's website and email marketing program and provide analytics review
  • Help create and execute the marketing calendar to achieve KPI's in support of sales (pipeline) and client success
  • Execute lead generation campaigns through multiple channels, including email, search, and social media
  • Develop sales tools including presentations, 1-pagers, infographics product videos, and more
  • Build Brand Awareness and establish BALANCE as a thought leader by actively engaging in social media campaigns and thought leadership.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage webinars, blog posts, podcasts, and other digital events.
  • Plan and execute conferences and tradeshows, including pre and post-marketing contacts.
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
  • Work with both the admissions and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new clients
  • Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts clients to the product or service
  • Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience.
  • Excellent marketing project management skills to allow for timely planning, executing, and reporting on multiple marketing projects at the same time, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong writing skills.
  • Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Previous Salesforce.com experience a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; good listener, excellent follow-up and follow-through, and willing to support and help others.
  • Diligent, efficient, motivated, extremely well organized, and proactive.
  • A positive ‘can-do!' attitude.
  • Must be a great communicator and a team player with a passion for marketing!
  • Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition.
  • Ability to lead groups and be decisive.

  • Proficient with analysis and design software.
  • Able to analyze ROI and KPI's.
  • Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO,
  • Previous experience working in the mental health field and /or eating disorders a plus.
