Must have skills

• Strong experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data lake design
• Proficient in Apache Spark, NoSQL databases, and SQL/Python for data transformation
• Cloud expertise on AWS or Azure, especially services like S3, Glue, Redshift, Databricks, Synapse
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and vice versa
• Strong communication skills, should be comfortable presenting to leadership and product teams
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and collaborate with business stakeholders

Nice to have skills

• Experience working in wealth management, asset management, or banking environments
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.) into business applications
• Familiarity with building Copilot-style interfaces for internal users (code assistants, knowledge bots, etc.)
• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and NLP
